English: Supplementary Movie 2 In an identical experiment to that for Supplementary Movie 1, MD-DCT did not drive MT gliding. Instead, the microtubules bind rigidly to the surface without moving, presumably due to inactive motors binding in rigor. Note the MT that lands on the surface and binds during the course of the movie. Frame rate is 7× real time. See discussion in Supplemental Information. |
