English: The Leonidaion (Λεωνίδαιον) was a complex of rooms and walkways, some say the lodging place for athletes taking part in the Olympic Games at Olympia, some say a grand hotel for distinguished visitors. It was located outside the sacred precinct at the southwest edge of the sanctuary and was the largest building on the whole site, not counting the stadium as a building. On its southwest corner and probably attached to it were the Leonidaion thermae, public baths presumably but not necessarily for the guests. It was constructed around 330 BCE and was funded and designed by Leonidas of Naxos.
