Description Men of a task force of the 35th Infantry Division ride in jeeps along the bank of the Maas river in Venlo, Holland. The force raced 28 kilometers in eight hours, racing through unmanned Siegfried Line defenses, to reach Venlo. Consisting of infantry, artillery, engineers, tanks , and tank destroyers, the task force only had five men wounded during the advance, and all vehicles arrived at the destination without mishap. They captured 130 Germans, four enemy machine guns, and a bazooka. 3rd Battalion, 320th Infantry Regiment. 3/2/1945
