Nederlands: Collectie / Archief : Fotocollectie Anefo Reportage / Serie : [ onbekend ] Reacties Geplaatst door maaike op 19 augustus 2008 - 14:35. Dit dichtgetimmerde pand (vlak bij de Oude Kerk van Amsterdam) bevindt zich aan de Oudezijds Achterburgwal no. 45 te Amsterdam en was aangekocht door het Goodwillcentrum van het Leger des Heils om verbouwd te worden tot kerkzaal (in Leger des Heils termen 'korpsgebouw'of evangelisatiepost genoemd). Het pand bleek connecties te hebben met Michiel de Ruyter en draagt dan ook de naam "De Ruytenburgh". Op 14 april 1962 is dit volledig gerenoveerde pand als korpsgebouw geopend door Majoor A.M. Bosshardt (die het Goodwillwerk in 1948 begon op De Wallen van Amsterdam.) Als extra informatie kan ik noemen dat Majoor A.M. Bosshardt in dit gebouw opgebaard heeft gestaan voorafgaande aan haar begrafenis in juni 2007. |
