This town (Bet Dagan) is originally the palestinian town of Beit Dajan, of Canaanite Arab town since the 4th mellenium BC, was ethnicaaly cleansed by Zionist war criminals on April 25, 1948. The 5500-population palestinian town was famous for its road intersection (East-West: Jerusalem-Yaffa, and South-North: Gaza-Haifa) which is now a traffic light near the Israeli road traffic control center, which was originally a British Police center, opposite which was the Beit Dajan Boys school, established in 1919, years before israel was established! The war memorial was built near the Hazbone/Sugarman complex which was a center of Zionists aggression and violence againt the passing by palestinians. The complex was destroyed by Arab resistance men before the Nakba. People of Beit Dajan, counting >80,000, mostly in Amman, Jordan, are still waiting for the day of The Return to go back to their homes, documented in the book Lets Not Forget Beit Dajan-Yaffa (www.beitdajan-yaffa.com)
