The Anne Frank House is a museum made from the house where Anne Frank and her family hid from the Nazis during the Holocaust. The hiding place is located in an empty section of this building that was owned by Otto Frank's company. While business continued, as usual, in the front part of the building, there were people hiding in the annex out back. After two years, the group was betrayed and transported to concentration camps. Anne Frank and her sister, Margot Frank, were eventually transferred to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, where they died of typhus in March 1945. |
