Description
English: Gertrude Noone, the oldest surviving World War II veteran at 110 years of age, is greeted by Army Secretary Pete Geren, during a ceremony in honor of Women's History Month and the Year of the Noncommissioned Officer, March 31, 2009, in Milford, Conn. Noone served as a sergeant first class in the Women's Auxiliary Corps during World War II.
