English: Dr. Vincent M. Tamagna has over 27 years of local and regional experience as a private industry executive, and elected Legislator and Legislative Chairman from 1995-2012. A native New Yorker Vinny is a subject matter expert in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and coordinating the implementation of budget, finance, contracts, grants, information technology/management, space and facilities management, health and safety, personnel security, emergency response, labor and employee relations, human capital, training, EEO/Civil Rights, Integrity Act, audit management, and records management programs. Dr. Tamagna has multiple years of progressively authoritative experience in federal and state grants management and transit planning and management with private enterprise and regional government agencies.
A collegial leader with demonstrated integrity and good judgment, and high public service ethical standards and senior executive service qualities of leadership and acumen through personal energy, flexibility, self-confidence, work ethic, positive approach, robust administrative/organizational skills, and inclusive interpersonal skills. Mr. Tamagna recently earned a PhD from Concordia University in Philosophy focusing on Public Sector Leadership in connection with Values-Based Leadership. Also a Marist Alumni with a master’s in public administration and Cohort 35 B.S. in Organizational Leadership and affiliated with the Hudson River Valley Institute at Marist as the Leadership Navigator. Mr. Tamagna serves as the Putnam County’s Director of Transportation, Climate Smart Coordinator, Project Manager, and interim Soil & Water Conservation District Director, Off Track Betting Board representative, East of Hudson Watershed Council, East of Hudson Sportsman Advisory Council, President and Chairman of the Constitution Island Association a not-for-profit focusing on education of the Warner Sisters History with the United States Military Academy at West Point and Rector’s Warden at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Cold Spring. |
