Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_90490_מחוברים 2.jpg Notes: כפר-מוֹנַשׁ הוא מושב עובדים בעמק חפר מצידו המזרחי של כביש 4. הוקם ב-1946 על ידי יהודים מפלוגת המודדים 524 בגדודי חיל ההנדסה של בעלות הברית שלחמו באל-עלמיין. המייסדים הקימו בית דפוס לצד העבודה החקלאית. בית הדפוס היה המשוכלל והמתקדם בארץ ועסק גם בהפקת מפות ואטלסים. משבר כלכלי הוביל לסגירתו ב1953, ולביסוס החקלאות אצל הרוב. היישוב נקרא על-שם הגנרל האוסטרלי-יהודי ג'ון מונש, מזיקת המייסדים לאוסטרליה וגם עקב רכישת שטח היישוב על ידי הקרן הקיימת בתרומות אוסטרליה. מונש היה נשיא הכבוד.
